Reunion, cont.

Okay, so I think everyone may need to vote on something other than "other." We are not all going to agree, obviously, but we need to at least decide on how we are going to decide. Does that make sense? In-laws need to vote too, your responses may be the same as your spouse, or it may not be, you should be able to give your opinion too.

Milestone

Finally, the much-anticipated day arrived. Sophie was so excited to go to school, and not the least bit scared. Kate was so upset that she couldn't go. I wanted to take a photo of her too, but Jeryl said that was insensitive. Anyway, Sophie had a great day, and can't wait to go back.

MY HELPER

Trevan is such a big helper! He always tells me,

"Mom, I'll be in here, call me if you need me, all right?"

He also offered to feed Mallary last week, (hasn't offered since), but, still sweet none the less.

A little messier than usual, but not bad for the first time!

Mr. Independent

I was going to wait until next week to blog, but thought I would take a break from working. So, since I have started working a lot at home, I have to admit my kids have been a tad neglected. For example, one day I came in the kitchen to find Trevan had gotten a yogurt out of the fridge and was drinking it. (I had told him in a few more minutes, I would make him lunch!) I had also been showing him how to make a peanut butter sandwich lately, and last week he wanted to make it himself, so I documented it.

He took the spreading of the peanut butter very seriously.

He also likes jelly on his sandwhiches now.

Still takes off the crust.

This picture is another story... One Saturday morning John and I came downstairs to find Trevan had helped himself to breakfast. He took frozen pancakes out of the freezer, and ate them just like that!! He is such a funny boy!!

Fair Fun

We went for our annual dose of the fair Saturday and part of Sunday. The best part was our stay at the Hampton Inn. Just kidding. Sort of.

For the first time ever, in the years I've been going, the weather was NOT in the upper 90s. It was so much more pleasant! The kids had fun on the rides, looking at the animals, tormenting Uncle Ben, watching sea lions, etc. Marina did well on the leash, once she got used to the idea. She was very upset about not getting to go on rides with her sisters, so we had to keep her away. Did take her on the merry-go-round once, but she didn't want Jeryl to hold her, so that didn't work out so well.

Sorry we only got pics of our kids; I was feeling lazy about photo taking.

okay, so i posted the following posts backwards and i don't want to take the time to fix it. oh well.

She loves to play with grass, or eat it, whichever. I love her little curled toes!

Okay, so this is turning into Holly's Howdy Do Blog. When everyone is done with their vacationing, you better get blogging!! So, my neighbor is getting into the photography business, and I told her she could practice on my kids anytime. So, here is a little shoot with Mallary.

Candi's new car

Candi, I don't know if you are looking at the computer while on vacation, but I found your next car!!!!! I knew you would love this! I'm sure Jon could write it off as a business expense! I could totally see you driving this car, and you saying, "doesn't it just make you happy?"
