Saving Money!

I have gotten more into couponing lately, although I am not quite the expert that some people are. Here are my shopping results from this morning - I'm so proud of myself!

This photo (with the socks) shows what I bought at Target for $0.85.

For these items, I only spent $0.32 at CVS, and I got $6.99 in CVS money to spend on another visit!

To really get a good deal, you use a manufacturer coupon AND a Target coupon on the same item.

So the wipes were on sale for 5.99, and I had an Internet coupon for $5 and Target one for 1.50. I had coupons that made the soaps free, plus a Target coupon for another $1, and so the overages took care of most of the cost of the socks (on sale for $1 each) and tax.

Last week, I got two 6 packs of Mott's applesauce for 9 cents each!

I just recently found a good website moneysavingmom.com that tells you about these kinds of deals and gives you the links to find some of the online coupons. I would never do all the work myself. She also explains how to do the CVS thing.

And now I just went to that site, and see that she just posted a bunch of Target deals that I didn't know about before, so I may have to make another trip later this week!
