what a character!

Trevan cracks me up!

All of a sudden Trevan has turned into a boy and has started to leave the seat up, so I have been reminding him often to put it down, and then the other day he came out of the bathroom and goes, "Mom, you didn't leave the seat up for me!" Jeryl, I know you used to joke around and say this, but it is much cuter coming from Trevan and not premeditated!

Two days ago, Mallary was head butting Trevan (they do this often), and Trevan goes, "ow, she is hurting my skeleton!" I said, you mean your skull? He said, "no, my skeleton." I said, you mean your bones? He goes, "oh, yeah."

We have a lot of land behind our house where cows graze, and I guess Trevan thought they were our cows. One morning as John left for work. Trevan asked why daddy had to go to work all the time. So I told him he works and makes money so we can pay for the house, and our clothes, and food. Then Trevan adds, "and the cows?"

The other day I called John a "Beevis" (yes, I am that mature), and Trevan overhearing goes, "Mom, did you just call daddy a "Wenis"?" (Trevan's word, combined from the real word which I use, and "weinie", which John uses). "Mom, it's not nice to call daddy a beevis."

I finally got two pictures of Trevan in his after church attire. Trevan picks out his own clothes after church, these pictures are from today and last week. The funniest thing though is that he ALWAYS leaves only one sock on?! I have asked him about it, and he has no explanation. But he always just leaves one sock on. And he has now gotten to the point that he has to make weird poses for pictures. Maybe I need to start paying attention, is it always the same foot that he leaves the sock on?

One day I came in the kitchen and Trevan had Mallary's socks on. I asked him what he was doing? If only you could have seen the look on his face. He did it to be funny. He is such a character, always telling knock knock jokes (minus a good punch line of course), and saying just kidding. He is so silly!!!

I'm dying. This kid is so adorable (both are, actually). All of these stories remind me so much of Chris and John. If they are any indication, just imagine what you have in store...
